Having spoken at a number of industry conferences and events including hosting and participating in expert panels, Mala's hands-on clinician experience, media training, event management skills, and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, cosmetic formulation, skincare brands, device companies, and energy-based technologies makes her uniquely equipped to deliver engaging and informed speaker/host content.

Speaker Bio

Mala is an award-winning Dermal Clinician and aesthetics industry journalist working in the medical aesthetics sector. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences (Clinicial Aesthetics)  from the Australasian College of Health and Wellness (ACHW). She completed her Beauty Therapy diploma with Elly Lukas in 2011, then went on to obtain a bachelor degree in Journalism. Since then, Mala has worked with a number of salons, skin clinics, cosmetic physicians and luxury hotel spas over the past decade, in both hands-on beauty and dermal roles as well as marketing and content capacities. Creating B2B and B2C content for industry, Mala has produced copywriting, news, and digital content for industry platforms like SPA+CLINIC, Beaute Industrie, and the Inside Aesthetics podcast, as well as a number of clinics, practitioners, and leading beauty, aesthetics and wellness brands.

Striving toward industry betterment and a lifelong commitment to learning, Mala is a regular freelance content producer for the Aesthetic & Beauty Industry Council (ABIC) and Beauty Biz, industry conference attendee and speaker, and volunteers as a committee member for Australian Society of Dermal Clinicians (ASDC). She is also a proud member of the Australasian College of Health & Wellness (ACHW) Academic Board. Mala's many years in industry, her hands-on role as a therapist, and her journalistic experience writing content alongside countless industry leaders, all uniquely position her to craft highly informed, curated expert content in all things beauty, spa, wellness, and cosmetic medicine.
